I do not see why...
the ruling against Microsoft is such a huge issue for people. I would have been
more concerned if the ruling had gone Microsoft's way. This company, like
Standard Oil, and At&t, and the think the history supports this, has done everything
it can to crush, cripple, and destroy competition. Correct me if I am wrong, but did
not the DOJ case make the same issues, and was found guilty? So if they were
guilty here, they are probably guilty of anti-competition everywhere they exist, just
because they have not been brought to court does not mean the opposite.
Microsoft was found guilty of breaking the law of EC in the EU. You may not like it,
or understand it, but this does not mean it is not true. If a non American company
was breaking US laws in the US, we as Americans would want our government to
take appropriate actions.
