This will be very interesting to watch. Really though, nothing they do will
have much of an effect in and of itself. The biggest thing here is all of the negative publicity that Microsoft has been getting and that has contributed to a very anti Microsoft attitude across Europe.

So, the penalties will mean nothing, it is the public relations battle that is most important. If MD wins, that will give them a huge public relations lift, but the penalties were really just a slap on the wrist.

On the other hand, if the EC wins, that will hurt MS public relations wise, but again, the penalties are nothing.
