I think fusion is the future

I think the future is fusion. Despite all the whining about how long it's gonna take, it's gonna come.

Quite frankly, none of the other types of clean power plants will cut it. Most of them simply don't produce enough power. You can build a gazillion wind turbines and still only supply a fraction of what we need.

Quite frankly, this is ignoring the incredible progress that has been made: We've recently broken the break even point. Sure, the future may be a bit distant right now, but IMHO it's going to be well worth it. Also, it's closer than some people think: All future fusion plants, "experimental" or not, should be capable of a positive output of power. I think it's possible, and that if we're really going to actually solve this problem, we need to push for fusion as hard as we can.
