1. All of that is nice but you still have no idea what the effect of a growing amount of really nasty, gonna be around in 8,000 years waste will have on the environment. I'm not worried about the US, it's places like China where regulations are lax. The waste holding facility in Nevada took decades to bring online and there are still doubts about whether it will stand the test of time.

2. Comparing rare elements to other rare elements and materials doesn't mean that there is enough raw material to accommodate the hundreds of new plants needed to keep up with current demand and also allow less environmental friendly types of power production facilities to be taken offline. It also doesn't account for the specific costs and methods needed to mine nuclear fuels. Plus it is not something other countries or the US are going to be willing to export.

3. I don't live near one and don't want one being built near me. There are no naval bases nearby either, let alone an ocean that would accommodate one.
