Not so fast
First of all, nuclear power is not clean. Its creates waste that while not floating in the air, does have a multi thousand year half life. The US will not allow re-processing of spent fuel which can drastically reduce the half life.

Secondly, there is only so much fuel that can be used in nuclear power plants. If a bunch of new nuclear power plants start popping up, it will drive up the price of the rare fules that can be used making nuclear not as cost effective as it has been in the past.

Lastly, I don't want a nuclear power plant anywhere near my home.
