Those dastardly corporations
Those of you who think patents are as evil as multinational corporations must be communists.

Don't you realize that your retirement is going to be funded by the grown in stock prices of multinational corporations? Don't you realize that virtually everything you wear and eat is furnished to you by a multinational corporation? Has the American public school system completely dropped the ball and forgotten to tell you how the capitalist system works?

If not for patents, you would still be grazing your cows and feeding your hogs and reading the Farmer's Almanac by candlelight.
