Anti-competitive!=Anti-capitalist
There are lots of capitalists that want as little to do with economic competition as possible. John D. Rockefeller (the one who's activities inspired the Sherman Antitrust Act) even proposed "cooperative capitalism" as an alternative to free market competition. Indeed, if profit for investors is the primary goal of capitalism, then the best possible situation is for every conceivable commercial segment to be under the control of a single vendor or group of vendors coordinating their activities (no competition at all, except between employees and customers, of course).

Competition is, however, necessary for the functioning of the free market and is what insures that capitalism works for the general welfare, instead of just the short-term gain of capitalists.
