I'm one of those people who said that the $200 price
drop was no big deal, and that nothing needed to be
done about it. I still feel that way. What Steve Jobs and
Apple are doing is going above and beyond the call --
way above -- this little "give back" is worth more
than $50 million in store credit. That doesn't make me,
or anyone else, a liar. But it does make me $100 richer,
because I was just going to buy a 160GB iPod classic
next week, anyway. Looks like I'm having the last
LAUGH.
