Extension of Penalties is Unavoidable
The idea that all of attorney general Gonzales' problems and his recent resignation are related to getting Slade Gorton, long time Microsoft supporter, into the Attorney Generals office where he can further Brad Chase's goal of further corruption of the Federal government can not be an idea of just my own. The fact that Connecticut, home town of the Bush family, and one of my least favorite states is pushing for this extension, means it will happen.

While George Bush may or may not be the worst president of all time, you have to recognize that WordCom, Enron, Patty Dunn, the IRA, and Microsoft have seen some level of justice applied. Of course the Clinton's were the first to bring Microsoft under the microscope.

Bottom line - until the criminal minded executives are removed (Chase and Ballmer specifically) Microsoft can not heal.
