these FBI/CIA intel shotages are trumped up
Funny how Richard Clarke seemed to have protected the Atlanta Olympics from hijacted planes (with helicopter based air-to-air missles) and the World Trade Conference in Italy was protected from hijacked airplanes to be used as missles but nobody in the administration seemed to ever "consider the possiblity" according to the NSA advisor. Fact is the government went on vacation and didn't want to be bothered with the real world, remember they told us there would be a new political war once they came back from their August repast ... and sure enough!

A real world example would be the intel fiefdoms the FBI and the CIA created which meant nobody had the full picture about what was going to happen on 9/11.

We are being told that by the same folks that claim there is no connection between IRAQ and Al Quaeda even though the most dangerous AQ operative has been living and working in IRAQ for over 10 years. Zarquawi is the chemical weapons expert who tried to attack Europe with Ricin but the fact he ran that operation out of Iraq (including the location of the labs in Iraq, is "no connection".

The Marines had to spend most of a week cleaning thousands of terrorists out of the terrorist training camp Salman Pak located just outside Bagdahd but this is not evidence of a terrorist connection.

The weapons of mass destruction are supposedly missing, or maybe never existed, but they could also be smuggled outside of Iraq and the CIA's warning that containment of WMD was best done by pressuring Sadaam might be right.
