ENOUGH ALREADY! As a professional photographer (and a working one at that, I actually USE mine cameras) I have cameras with not over 16 mpx and actually feel that I don't actually that many at all.
These cameras have too many bells and whistles as it is. A new model every year; followed by a "prosumer" model. Something to entice one to spend money. For what? The number of megapixels over a certain number does NOT improve a photograph.
LIGHT, and GOOD LENS are what make a photo and of course, good composition. Funny how we don't read many articles on those! Oh, we wouldn't be spending our money there....oh, that L glass costs a lot of money but it isn't quite as "sexy" as the camera body itself, now is it?
Enough is enough Canon, Nikon and everyone else. Fools are born every day but this photographer knows what photography is about...and it's not MORE MEGAPIXELS.
