I was unaware my vote was suppost to be secret
What a great thing if votes were secret. But I was unaware that it was so. I have always assumed that at least the government knew my voting record just as I know the voting record of my congressmen and seniors. Is this a problem? When I vote for a board of directors, my vote is knowable. I think the main point of this article is that E-voting is coming to all in the nation and that the US government will be in charge and not a private multi-national corporation. Lets propose this. The local precinct is allowed to know my vote. But beyond that, those wanting to know, have to file a request and I get to respond to that request and go to court if needed.

Instead of public-private partnerships lets have public-local government partnerships.
