YOu have the right to privacy in your own home.
If you are in a public place, you have no such expectation or right. In some cases (and businesses) the right to privacy in the home is not there (but a lot of money is).

As soon as you step outside your house, you can (and might be) watched by cameras. There is realy no place that you can go to avoid this (as it even exists in many European cities now).
