why is everyone surprised
I have been battling Dell since 2001 about mistakes they have made when I returned a lemon of a server after 3 repairs (warrentied), and loss of work due to this lemon. Then I find out almost 6 years later that they did not log the return and cancel my account but kept the account opened. So this 1600 dollar door stop is now a 2400 debt on my credit report. What is especially disturbing is that they had sent me a letter stating that the account was settled. How long is the statue of limitations for holding onto a letter showing a settled debt? How many other customers have they screwed over the years?
A blue Dell won't make it better. I hope the SEC gives Dell what they truely deserve.
