Cellulose and Ethanol
BEWARE! "Cellulosic Ethanol" is not green ... it is not "natural". It is a technology that relies on recombinant, DNA using e coli and other wierd stuff like bioengineered termite enzymes. Only one risk, besides "super" termites is that the e coli "bugs" can escape and live in piles of leaves in the woods, turning them into puddles of alcohol.

You ZDnet nerds should be able to Google/ drill down to the next level beyond "green" press releases. Keywords: recombinant, ethanol, e coli, and termites .. etc. Cellulosic Ethanol is a nightmare ... Research it, then fight it or watch it happen. Insiders are currently trying to take over South Florida and convert the Glades into hemp and sugar cane for ethanol. Plants are being built as I write. Do the research. It is very ugly.
