I just bought my 6th Dell system and I can understand why their ranking is down. I bought a Dell 2407 LCD monitor and the next day Costco puts a rebate on it and has it selling for $150 cheaper than Dell. I thought the point of "Direct from Dell" was that you can save cost. How is a customer suppose to feel when they haven't even recieved their product yet and they can go down to their local Costco right away and pick it up for cheaper than they paid? It's Dell's own product and it's more expensive buying direct than going through a distribution channel!!!!!

I've called Dell to ask about it and I had to call 3 times to try to talk to a manager. One time the customer agent told me I was being transfered but then disconnected me. The manager never called me back though after the called drop.

I've been passed around like a hot potatoe but no one seems to even want to try and solve the problem. Not sure if it's because the call center is in India or if that's just the general training at Dell nowadays.

I recall when they use to have great service and would take ownership to correct the situation. I see why now people complain about them and will definately think twice before going back to them.
