- Love is such a STRONG word...
- It's not like this is a strategy or business model that MSFT invented. This sort of thing happens all the time, and in industries not related to tech or the internet. Even Google and Apple buy other firms to gain their respective technological developments, just so they don't have to reinvent the wheel (or get into IP and/or patent fights).
