Yet again people think they can wave the laws of physics away. electrochemical will ALWAYS underperform gasoline because there just isn't enough energy density there. It's a law of the universe folks. Wishing it weren't so won't change that.

If you want a viable alternative to gasoline, you need to find something with equivalent or greater energy density, and, no, it isn't hydrogen.
