Sounds like communism the ultimate outcome.

State Industries, Inc. The most inefficient corporation in the world because of no competition.

Communism used all of those tactics. So did the NSDAP to a lesser extent. Socialism leads to tyranny because even a democracy will vote it out of existence in short order due to its inefficient central planning. Anything state encouraged or controlled is socialism due to the collective mindset that is opposed to free enterprise with competition. This also is taking the decision away from the people that have differing views which is the cornerstone of democracy. I will agree to Omch'Ar on this but his patent views are hosed. Ideas are property rights that are temporarily assigned in our constitution. They are just abused by monopolies like anything else they touch. In this case free speech.
