Dell seems to have solved the compiling problem that you can't as they already offer Linux on some of the models.
And thats their biggest mistake. Nobody wants linux. Dell selling linux buzz will end rather shortly, just drifting away until its forgotten about. It will probably make Dell lose revenue too.
You also seem to mistake Linux is free with Linux can be free. Haven't you noticed you can buy copies of Linux, you know disks in boxes with manuals etc. I'm sure you've seen the like of that before.
No mistake, linux is free and all the little fanboys constantly are screaming that on here. Why would people buy it if they can get it free?
