Every try to compile linux code?

Yes

Then if you are lucky enough to sift through thousands of lines of code to get it to compile

Luck ? You rely on luck ? Why not wave some chicken bones around while you're at it ? You need skill, not luck.

then try to run it guess what happens? Segfault!

Gosh. You ARE unlucky, aren't you ? Or maybe just untalented ?

Its just not worth it to run linux when you encounter so many problems.

But linux is free! How can they possibly make any money licensing when they are giving it away for free?

Have a Wonderful Day, and don't try too hard to get that code compiled. Or at least get the chicken bones out, best to do it under a full moon. Tee hee.
