Wake Up and Smell the Coffee

The music companies spent millions of dollars fighting the same losing battle before finally figured out the cash cow was already beyond ground beef. Just think of where these companies would be today if they took that money and put it into building their own version of the iPOD or another delivery method that along those lines.

Were the companies that broadcast video sleeping when this was going on. This new battle is even more comical, Google can keep this going on for years with their deep pockets. In the mean time 20 more sites just like it will be growing in popularity.

Hmmm, would it be better to fight a battle you already know you can't win or take all that money and develop a way to take advantage of this new market?

Hint: The Recording Industry will never recover from their mistake. My guess is the rest of the broadcast industry end up the same way. A bunch of out of work story tellers who forgot that change is inevitable.
