Don't speak too soon
Until I see a "going out of business" sign on the YouTube website I'm not convinced that these lawsuits are going to hold up in court. The fact of the matter is that the language of their end-user agreement is very clear that it is unacceptable to post copyrighted material and any users posting said materials will be held personally responsible.

The real problem is that these media hounds go after money, not rights. Going after individuals will not get them wads of cash, but going after Google will.
