Is Sun indirectly supporting Microsoft?
Hmmm ... according to http://blogs.zdnet.com/open-source/?p=1295 key parts of Solaris are not being GPL'ed:

Morton said none of those features ? Zones, ZFS or DTrace ? will end up in the Linux kernel because Sun refuses to adopt the GPL. The ZFS license is incompatible with with the GPL and SystemTAP ? with a little bit of work ? will do everything Sun?s DTrace can do, Morton said.

So ... why should we support Sun when their goal is to split the OSS community? Is there a better strategy going forward for Microsoft than to split the opposition?
