OSS Software
I remember once a conversation I had with someone who was installing a Linux server. They needed a printer attached directly to it and that wasnt where the problem laid. It came when the software wouldnt print. It took them hours (software tech support) to install the printer. OSS has only one real problem is that it has no funding behind it. That is why Linux is left behind in the world when MS based products are booming. If linux would have upgraded at least a few times since 1960 we wouldnt be having this debate.

Now onto Gates being evil and steals with both hands. If the court is right and they did work with a co owner on the patent then the lawsuit was clearly wrong. The problem is when you are as big as MS you have to worry about the little companies coming after you. 1.5 billon dollars could well enough be about half or more then their anually income for that company.

I dont like Gates business pratices more then anyone and when they are in the wrong then by all means. But when in a case where they are in the right they have right to be treated correctly. I would like you to name someone else in the world who has used his wealth more to help mankind then to harm it.
