What's frightening about the press and the GOP
Is that both the "mainstream" media and Ron Paul's own party have conspired to work against him. Even the so-caled "anti-tax" group in Iowa actually was a conservative christian neoconservative front, which is why they worked so hard to ban him from the debate.

Ron Paul is really the only person who has any chance of winning the presidential election for the GOP. The country is so polarized right now that to get any democrat votes, the GOP must offer a candidate that can reach across party lines. NONE of the other candidates can do that other than Ron Paul, who already has a mass following from liberals, libertarians, 3rd party groups, and people who normally don't vote. Combined with GOP support (if they would support him, but you never know those crazies) he could garner enough votes to win easily. Democrats aren't too thrilled about their own crop of candidates and are looking for alternatives too.
