First off: I am a parent, of a young girl no less.

But I think you need to put down the crackpipe and loosen up your paranoia.
Here it comes: They served their time. Period. You can go petition for longer sentences if you desire, but until you win, when their time is up, they should be let go. Who are you to decide that a certain class of criminals should never be forgiven? A person who abuses one or two children is certianly less of a criminal to society than someone who affects thousands - take certain white collar crimes for example. So your bias is extremely evident.
Why not just shoot offenders after the gavel falls on the guilty verdict? Why should I, as a law abiding citizen, have to pay millions to keep an offender in jail for life? Let the parent of the child cut off their balls, then take them out back and chop off their head. Perhaps we could post the heads on stakes around the yards of suspected sex offenders who haven't been caught yet to warn them they're next.

Yeah that's it! Castration and heads on stakes. Vote for me, I'm tough on crime!
