Decline in Property Value
Think of the rich folk in the suburbs who just saw their property devalued. This is the taking which happens when a road becomes a toll road. The push will be for a free bridge or for compensation for the lost real estate value. We are not chatting about poor folks in Minnesota. Its a huge story that will roll the ball faster down the mountain to a solution. I suggest the government start with assistance telecommuting. Lets see the 700 Mhz spectrum and WiMax rolled out. None of that Katrina WiFi stuff. Lets see an economic boost in the form of universal access to the Internet Super Highway for all those on the suburb side of the bridge. Lets do this for the folks in Minnesota but also as a demonstration to the nation.
