I
just don't know anybody who on the highway, pushes their bikes pass the limits of the law, inclusive of keeping up with normal traffic, so as to not cause an accident. Plenty of car drivers I know let their feet go heavy and speed in excesses of 15 to 25 over the speed limit, and a few daring fools believe that since their odometer nearly makes a circle, that they can try to achieve said speeds, if for only a few minutes and the police willing.

Most motorcycle users I know have a healthy 'awareness' if not fear of the 4 wheeled drivers on the highway, with the cell phone distractions, the eating and other activities that a motorcyclist can hardly ever do while in motion, that they maintain a tight control over speed and course, especially with some of the decay on today's interstates. So I stand by my odometer statement.

As for the 'loud' pipes, I would not know. I'm not a rider, . . unless you can stick those pipes on my bicycles. And I don't care for the noise that they create.
