Power Plants
We are supposed to be the number one technology country on the face of the earth, but in our arrogance, or greed we ignore what is going on in the world around us. Iceland produces ALL of it's power from geothermal sources. clean! Denmark produces over 85% of it's power from wind and wave sources. clean! Even the lowly Philippines produces more geothermal energy than we do. We have the geothermal resources available, but not in my back yard. We have the Wind available, but don't build the offshore farms because that's the area Kennedy likes to take his yacht. Not in my backyard. So we continue to build coal fired power plants across the country, but please not in my back yard.
