a FEW?
Sorry... I moved out here expecting to live off-grid. The fact is, living off of solar or wind and batteries is NOT ready for prime time. Every one of us who has tried to do so has brought in electric... and used polluting and expensive gas or diesel generators in the meantime. The electricity generating plants are far more efficient with the fossil fuels than we are or can be with a personal generator, so they're the lesser evil.

I wish it were so, but it takes a lot more than a few, and solar/wind/batteries are not yet ready for prime-time.
