Motorcycles are a good place to start vehiclewise
they usual make shorter trips and not necessarily at the highest rates available on the odometer, . . so a battery bike sounds great, except that do they make 'enough' sound to alert others around them to not hit them? I know my coworker is considering a new muffler to boost the sound output so that less attentive drivers take note that they are sharing the road with a motorcycle since we seem to have problems noticing traffic around our cars.

As far as going green, power plants definitely are a big concern for all the grid we use is contributing to the less than green effects on our world. Vehicles and power plants. A step in the right direction.

Not one super solution, but many small and large solutions combined.
