Secrecy is the enemy of freedom
Secret police, secret searches, secret evidence, secret courts, secret prisons. Welcome to the new America, land of the not-so-free and home of the really-not-brave. Where the authorities whisper "terrorist" and American citizens run and hide underneath their beds. Where anyone who questions the actions of the President or his shadowy henchmen is a traitor. Where citizens accept as gospel proven falsehoods from our leaders, in a triumph of delusion over reason.

Unfortunately I do not think it will stop until Americans are truly broken under a repressive government that would look right at home in the Balkans or in Africa. What a waste.
