False Dichotomy?
"I'd rather have fewer megapixels than noisy photos."

Can't the noise problem be solved without compromising detail caused by too few pixels? After all, film has a nearly infinite number of pixels. The blame is being put on cell sensitivity with today's technology, but ah ha, how about increasing cell sensitivity?
