- White House would like to see that, not me

Write your letter to the White House. Maybe they can answer your questions because the common American cannot.
America is simply unable to support a vast number of its citizens any longer. If there are no jobs and welfare is a constant issue (because it's no good for the recipient either), then why aren't these people given the option to have a plot of land they can farm with some help from the government with basic survival skills (like building a log house for shelter), hunting, gardening, etc.
Would seem a whole lot more responsible of the government to support people with the few things they need in order to sustain life independently of the economic system than to stand up there and lie about the job situation and wring their hands about welfare.
What's so wrong with letting people voluntarily set up their own "Little House on the Prarie" communities for the sake of sustaining life, not economic profit?
