Anger IS NOT at "outsourcing" per se ...
Anger is at shortsighted policies to effect immediate "profits" for a previleged few at the expense of many.

If outsourcing was due to labor shortages it would not be a problem. The same applies to immigration to the U.S. America is populated mainly by immigrants and decendents of immigrants.

If the displaced workers were immediately placed in comparable replacement positions there would be no problem. If the supply of jobs could absorb an unlimited supply of immigrants there would be no problem.

It is the social irresponsibility of our companies and government in failing our unemployed/under-employed that is causing the anger. If no one was hurt and everyone benefited there would be no anger/problem.
