National ID plan may have killed immigration bill

Hire Americans - ID Plan

Mr. Gates needs to hire highly skilled Americans. It costs more, but so be it. Why should kids go to college to have jobs filled by low paid foreign workers. As usual, corporate America looking for the cheap way out.

Bush and company finally heard Americans - illegal are illegal - lawbreakers. The man is a little slow on the uptake.

Or look at it another way - thirteen months and a thousand dollars and my Chinese wife is here very legally. And now I am doing the same to bring my wife's son to the US. Does the Pres really think that I favor amnesty for lawbreakers ?

Time to enforce the laws presently on the books.

What is the problem with a National ID plan ? We have drivers licenses, state id's, passports, green cards and other id's all with your picture and birthday. Tell me, what privacy right is a national id violating ?

Our government could not get it's act together if they tried.
