He fails to address the ramifications.
I enjoyed the article as it allows speculation of what the technology might do, but I feel it falls short when it comes to the ramifications. Looking back the only technology I see that has changed the world as much as computing has is fire. Maybe more so.

We can clearly see that computers have had significant social ramifications already. One can't help but wonder how our kids will handle this brave new world we are creating...
