A fool and their money are soon parted.

My SUV will easily go 500,000 miles, and then can be rebuilt. Most Prius will only last about 100,000, and then have to be thrown away. Most solar electrical panels are only rated for five years of use, and then must be replaced. If the solar panels are heating water, then there is yearly maintenance to keep them in shape, plus replacing them after five to ten years of use. If you are using the new light bulbs that save energy, then you have to be very careful how they are disposed of, because they all contain mercury.

I support the green movement by eating a lot of beef, thus ridding the world of some of those flatulent cows. I'm also setting up a homemade still for recycling environmentalists into biofuels.
