it has been calculated that flatulence from carbon based life forms has an insignificant impact on global warming.

Second, the battery life you are referring too is actually the warranty for coverage, not when they will expire.

As for reciprocating petroleum fired engines, they can fail at 10 miles or 1 million miles, just like batteries it's the luck of the draw. I have built many performance and economy minded power plants in my life... I have seen it go both ways.

Your assessment of solar panels is so far out in left field that I cannot even take you seriously! The average warranty is... 20 years for PV solar panels. Average payback is 10-15 years, depending on configuration and other variables.

As for maintenance... again you are spouting pure ignorance. Most PV systems only require a quick hose down once a year. Wow! How hard is that!?

You and the previous poster are the type of f***ing idiots I get sick of dealing with. Because of you dumb f***s we are still stuck in the 19th century. All these technologies we use to generate the majority of our power is over 150 years old! And that is including the internal combustion engine.

It's time to move up in the world and establish the United States as a world leader in green, sustainable technology. Stop being a part of the problem. I have...

You can do the rest I think. Oh and your hummer... what are you trying to prove? When is the last time you took it off road or used it for what it was designed for? Yeah, everytime I see one of those idiotic vehicles, the first thing I think is "There is someone very insecure with themselves!" And I am usually right on the money. devil
