If it's such a baaaaad idea...
...don't use it. But just because you think it's a baaaaad idea doesn't mean you get pass judgment on how much people ought to think. You brought up colour-blind people--by your example, you're implying that all printed text is a baaaaad idea because totally blind people can't use it.

"Just because you can do it, it's not necessarily a good idea to actually do it."

But you're not the final arbiter of what's good or bad, or what people ought actually to do.
