Not just cheap labor...
A cheap cost of living is one hell of a loophole for these companies. That's all they care about. Loopholes. And it's going to rebound on them. And not by us either.

The folks who use $25000 industrial scanners, but with $18 worth of parts, are getting tired of constant breakdowns. This never happened until this offshoring fad took off.

The problem is not America.

What happened to hard work paying off? What happened to knowing things? Why It's just cheap labor, cheap product, cheap 'service' (aka reading a cue card), cheap replacement. Why is everything so cheap?

And if journalism isn't bad enough, a paper in Pasadena is hiring Indians do do this work too.

Okay, if these Indians are so great, make it mandatory that to get a H1B, they need to serve in the US army. The free giveaway to them must slow down.

If it is about globalization, some parts of the globe have to have some attention once again. Why are Americans denied work just because the cost of living is so high? I didn't make the cost of living, nor did you. But we work hard and smart for fair pay. And yet we're treated like trash. And I'm willing to forgive if our own countrymen are treated as countrymen.

You bet I'm confused.
