Apple will need MS's help again soon
Looks like the iPod's dominance will only last a few more months considering how quickly it is sloughing marketshare. Apple is pretty much a 1 trick pony and without iPod sales... well... Jobs may be begging for more MS money (again) sooner rather than later.

Over in the digital media player space, Apple in March saw continued erosion of its share of the retail segment at the hands of rival SanDisk. For the month, Apple held onto a 68.9 percent share, down from 72.3 percent in February and 72.7 percent in January.

Let's see, Macs are gaining about 0.1% marketshare a year while iPods are losing 3.5% marketshare a quarter (14% a year). Uh oh!!
