Quite.
The ads themselves are misleading as well (especially the one where the PC has trouble using the new printer that works on mac just fine. I should send the advertising morons some forum articles regarding the Epson Stylus 2200 printer... or the ones regarding the Sony camera, but the point is clear - misadvertising isn't nice.)

It's also funny to see a big company, which sold its first mac without a keyboard because the GUI was the selling point, later rips out higher end components (e.g. SCSI, the Motorola processor line, et cetera) and uses lower-grade IDE, Intel, and so on while maintaining the same ridiculous prices... not to mention ditching their OWN operating system (which even the 9.x series was less stable than Windows ME) and put in what's essentially some custom GUI components added to http://www.openbsd.org ... and THEN look at their problem of being green-unfriendly -- http://www.badappple.biz and wince.

Apple's a joke. If it wasn't for the iMac and how everyone like fictional character Kelly Bundy flocked to it (for the color of the case), they'd have been out of business.

Let them. I'd rather buy a real PC than a PC with limiting hardware installed... and if anyone thinks OS X is unique, google up "hackintosh", "OS X on a pc", and so on. It's apparently easy to hack "Mac" OS X to run on any cobbled up PC. What a joke. (I still wouldn't do it; Vista is 50 times better. )
