I love open source. I think it is great. I enjoy being able to scour the source and make changes as I need. But I don't think the whole software industry should go open source. Some projects lend themselves to open source better than others.

Do I think the OS should be open source? Yes. Or, at the least, it should be as John stated the core. I think this would truely provide for more innovation as companies try to win customers by providing better features.

I know I am probably dreaming, but I think it is a good dream happy
