Stolen copyrighted work?

Still using that phrase, huh, even though you've repeatedly admitted that it is blatantly wrong?

And infringement is a crime, whether one is profiting or giving it away for free. If I put up Britney Spears songs on BitTorrent, I'm guilty of a crime, even though I'm not profiting from it. You're sadly confused about the law.

That said, we're going to have to wait and see what the court rules as far as the Safe Harbor provisions go. If they're struck down, then all sorts of companies are in big, big trouble. AOL, I'm sure, hosts many websites that infringe upon copyright, as just one example. Verizon as another. Should be fun to watch the giants crumble, if you are correct.

More likely, judges will be hesitant to tear down the internet and put major corporations out of business.
