RE: Microsoft is not a player in the Auto ID industry
Surely barcode technology shouldn't simply stop at the black and white matrix and progress simply be frozen in time. There can be more innovation in this space and this seems to be headed in the right direction. Additionally this seems to be a specific purpose barcode if you read the various articles on the web about this.
