The same problem for as long as I've been here

The government is controlled by lobbyists who are paid by the corporations who tax deduct their services to maintain a lower tax base. The little man picks up the slack and when the slack gets so big they can't pick it up, the government does us a favour and borrows the money so we can all pay for it later, interest is added for good measure. I believe we should all pay taxes to support our civil duties as in schools, education, hospitals, water, sewage and other local utilities. I don't think I should have to work the first 7 months of every year to pay for my share of the taxes levied. It is a fact that this is the case as most tax payers would have to really consider all the taxes and forms of tax they pay to really see how much they pay in total. It is staggering and it wouldn't be so bad if they spent our tax dollars with some rational thought. I just discovered that it's against the law for the government of Switzerland to run their government with a deficit. Now can you imagine how incredibly good it would be if our governments owed nothing and actually had tax dollars in the black !
