This doesn't work in Canada
Our government here doesn't give a fiddler's damn what you bought or sold it for, they want provincial and federal sales tax which in this province totals 13 percent. So if you bought a car for a 1000 dollars you pay 130 dollars to buy it. When you sell it, the buyer pays 13 percent of the selling price. If used items are sold and the items are used, registered items as in cars, homes, guns or in some cases artwork with numbered editions or serial numbers as on guns, the buyer is subject to 13 percent. I avoid using Ebay at all costs as I can list items with a photo on usedvictoria.com for free, no cost whatsoever.
This website is available in other provinces via usedtoronto.com or usedvancouver.com but there are many others so you can list, sell or buy to local people cash in hand.
