MS would have been no different
If MS or any company had bought DoubleClick, I'd have said the same thing as DoubleClick had nothing positive to offer on the consumer level, it was strictly in business for the advertising, tracking and to gain buying trends of the public. MS or anyone buying such a company would have no other reason for buying it aside from the ones I've mentioned. I'm a supporter of Ad aware because of DoubleClick and others like it.
